We got a very warm welcome from the landlady, and she had left a bottle of rosé wine for us. The place was spotless, with everything we needed, even tea and coffee for the Senseo machine. It's an easy 10-minute walk to the old town, and the terrace is a nice place to sit when the weather's good. Parking nearby is tricky, though. Free spaces are hard to come by anywhere in the city. There was also a construction site next door, and it got a bit noisy at times during our stay. Still, it's a place I'd recommend at a fair price, at least in early May.

The building work next door was hard to ignore. A concrete mixer ran for over two hours, and the workers smoked so much that the smell got inside the apartment. Maybe the owners of the apartments at VHR Lučac 35 should have let vacationers know about it beforehand.

The neighborhood is quiet, and there's a little terrace where you can eat outside. The apartment is superb and very well equipped, about 500 meters from the old town and even closer to the beach and seafront.
