We loved having a jacuzzi on the terrace, and the apartment had everything we needed, including a good kitchen and a great shower. It’s right by town and parking is a good option. There’s plenty of light coming in, so bring an eye mask. Getting in means climbing a few steep stairs, but it’s manageable. Thanks again to the hosts for a fantastic stay in Split.

We had a very unpleasant experience with the host. The parking garage was listed as included, but on the day we arrived the owner messaged that he wasn’t nearby and the garage was full. Finding street parking was difficult, and most nearby areas charge except on Sundays. The outside seating area was messy, and the old electric heater smelled like cigarette smoke when switched on. The listing also showed and described a hot tub. We found it folded up and disconnected right beside our cluttered apartment door. When we asked the owner about it, he didn’t reply until after we checked out the next day, then said our room didn’t include a hot tub. There was only one apartment on each floor, and it had been listed in the description when we booked. There wasn’t a drying rack either, just a small clothesline with four clothespins, despite the description saying otherwise. I found the host dishonest and not very accommodating. Split has plenty of places to stay, so I’d choose somewhere else next time.

Everything was clean, new, and nice. The apartment was very good, and the owner’s a great guy.

A lovely place to spend a holiday. I’d definitely recommend it.

The room’s small and the bed and bedding are pretty basic, but the location, price, and quick replies from the host made it a perfect base in the heart of Dubrovnik. We liked our first few days in Croatia here so much that we came back for the rest of our stay.
