The apartment was huge, spotless, and just as described. It's right in the middle of the Palace, and the host had left wine, juice, water, cookies, and local souvenirs for us. A real find.

We stayed right in the center of the Old Palace. The accommodation was top quality, simply fantastic.

There were lots of useful extras: towels, spare bedding, laundry detergent, a hairdryer, clothes dryer, toiletries, washing machine, dishwasher, and two sofa beds. The host also left wine and cookies, though it felt more like a box to tick than a personal gesture. The apartment is spacious at 100m², and the location puts you right in the heart of Diocletian's Palace. But the lower floor is actually a basement, and noise from the nearby street carries in clearly. You can hear every footstep and conversation. The listing on booking.com didn't explain how the two bedrooms were arranged: one was behind a sliding wardrobe door, while the other was a bed in a connecting room. The bathroom felt claustrophobic and got hot inside. There's no vent, just a small window that lets in the hot outdoor air.
