Apartments Villa Rosa

The couple who own this lovely home welcomed us with so much warmth and affection, almost like grandparents. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, an easy walk from Old Town. Parking was the difficult part: although they say it’s available, it’s first come, first served, and the neighborhood streets are very narrow. We struggled to park and to back out when leaving, especially since many cars were parked along the side marked with a no parking sign. Despite the driving and parking hassle, I’d highly recommend staying here in Split.

The rooms were very clean, and it’s close to the center while still far enough away to avoid the noise. The couple who run the place are lovely. They welcomed us with a bottle of wine and a selection of cakes.

It’s peaceful here, with a private garden, even though you’re right in the middle of Split. The owners are the nicest people and take good care of you, helping with whatever you need. It’s quiet, not a party place, and the price is good for the service. You can walk to everything: the entrance to Park suma marjan is two minutes away, Old town split is a four minute walk, and restaurants and bars start about 200 meters from villa rosa. We booked at the last minute, but our host still gave us a really warm welcome. The apartment was clean, and we loved the view from its small private balcony. Our host also shared helpful tips for future visits. It’s only five minutes from central Split. One thing to know: the alley by the apartment is very narrow, so we don’t recommend parking there.
