Petra made our week at Bajamonti especially lovely. She knew the area well, gave us a map and advice on beaches and how to reach them, and suggested restaurants. She also researched where we could get local antigen tests, making the process easy, and printed documents we needed for our return flights. Thanks so much, Petra. The location is hard to beat, right on the main square, yet the fifth-floor rooms meant street noise didn’t affect our sleep. Our room was lovely and clean, with everything we needed. The bath was amazing, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We had breakfast at The Brasserie on 7, just a short walk away. The food was tasty, with lots of options, and we tried something different each day. The coffee and smoothies were great too. We had a wonderful time in Split.

The rooftop terrace was lovely, and breakfast was delicious, served with a voucher at a restaurant by the sea. The staff were friendly and quick to reply by text or other means. They arranged an airport transfer at a very good rate and shared useful tips on places to see and restaurants. Our room in the old UNESCO building was spacious and modern, as was the bathroom, which had a full-size bath and rain shower. The huge lamps by the bed did leave very few spots to put things like phones, a wallet, glasses, or water. The hotel sits on a beautiful square in the old town centre. The rooms are on the fourth floor, ground floor plus three, and there’s no elevator. That means 90 stairs, but they’re worth it.

I stayed here in 2017, when the hotel was nearly new. The room was very nice, and the location is perfect, right in the city centre near the harbour and all the main areas. The host was amazing, super friendly, helpful, and very service-minded.

The room was lovely and the bathroom huge, but the water temperature was wrong for three days out of our four-night stay, including two days with cold water. We called twice and nobody came. There’s no one at reception, and messages get answered two days later. For that price, it isn’t worth it. Don’t choose this place.
