Bruno, thanks for being such a great host. The apartment is perfect, and the renovation is beautiful, with everything thoughtfully considered. Your help booking dinner led us to the best food we had in Croatia, and the beach was amazing. We had a fab stay!

I was worried I'd chosen somewhere too far from the bus station, especially with all my luggage, but the walk was worth it. The owner welcomed me warmly, showed me around and had water and chocolate ready for me. The place is so cute, very clean, and has all the necessities, including a fully stocked kitchen, a lovely living room and bathroom amenities. The only catch is that they take cash only, in euros or kuna, no credit cards.

The inner garden was a pretty, peaceful spot to relax after a day of walking around. Our bed suited me perfectly, the best hotel sleep I've had in ages. The room was on the small side for us, but had everything we needed for the price, and everything worked nicely despite the vintage building. The owner was friendly and helpful, and the official paperwork was handled without extra hassle. It felt more like staying at a friend's place than dealing with hotel bureaucracy. The little place is very affordable and close to Split's main sights, Marjan and Riva. There was some street noise from people heading up Marjan and tourists with luggage, but that's part of staying in the busy old town of a popular tourist destination. I slept fine with the windows closed and the AC on.

The host was great and friendly. The rooms are a bit tiny but comfy, and very close to the city centre and lots of tourist attractions.
