The room was a pleasant surprise once we got in: clean, nicely decorated, and welcoming, with a comfortable bed and fresh sheets. It had a kettle, towels, coffee, a television, and air conditioning. The WiFi was free but so slow that I used my 4g instead. Teo was friendly and made us feel at home, and arranged an airport transfer for a reasonable price. The harbour is very close, making it easy to visit the old town, its castle, shops, and restaurants. I’d happily stay again and recommend it. We booked Bishops Palace at the last minute for a night in Split, and communication with Teo was good. Finding the place was tricky: it’s tucked down a back street with only a tiny sign on the door. We got caught in torrential rain and waited 20 minutes for the owner to let us in, so bear that in mind when planning your check-in.
