Boban Luxury Suites

We booked this hotel for the nights on either side of our cruise because it's close to the port. Room 14 was a much nicer experience on our second stay: it was on the ground floor beside the pool, with better beds and a nicer shower. The first time we had room 9, where the beds in both rooms made a lot of noise and the sliding doors weren't ideal.

The WiFi was really poor, so bring your own data. Getting into the hotel means tackling a steep entrance about 50 meters one way from the main road. The place feels a bit old, and an Uber to the town centre was 5 euro. The rooms are spacious and overlook the pool, with aircon, a kettle, tea and coffee. Breakfast was good, and you can ask for barista coffee.

For a cheap hotel, it was about what you'd expect. The location is the best part: free parking, around 8 minutes on foot to the beach and 20 to the old town. The nearby pebble beach was calm and not crowded. We did find ants in our room, and the pool ladder wasn't screwed down properly, so watch out. Breakfast was basic. It was okay for the price, but I'd pick somewhere else for more comfort.

We’re having a lovely stay and would happily come back. The staff have been so polite and helpful, even helping us with our Croatian, and breakfast is included with a huge choice. Our room is spacious and really comfortable. The location is great, just outside Split but still within walking distance of everything. It can get noisy when other guests come back late, but that's just how it goes sometimes. Hope the bridal parties had a great time!
