We arrived at 11.30pm, and I realized the host hadn't sent any instructions for getting into the building or rooms. I expected a staffed reception, but this is a residential building. My colleague, who'd also booked through booking.com, luckily had the codes for the building, the converted apartment, and his own room. I called the host several times and got no answer. Eventually we worked out the key code for the other rooms ourselves, so I could get into mine. Security was lax. The owner offered no help, and hasn't communicated or apologized since. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but if anything goes wrong, don't expect assistance. You're on your own. Edit: The owner says I didn't stay there. I've attached photos I took of the common area and the view from my room window.

The location is a real plus, but the accommodation category is confusing. It’s listed as a four-star hotel, yet it’s really a guest house. Getting to the room is awkward, and the shared area doesn’t feel close to four-star standard. Honestly, it’s a bit pricey.
