I picked this place for Sept. 4-7 because the location was convenient and reviews mentioned cleanliness. The location is good, but the place was unhygienic. It looked clean, yet the mattresses seemed barely cleaned. Bed bugs bit me badly and ruined my health during the vacation. When I showed the owner a bug, he didn't seem very surprised and said it was a mosquito, which it wasn't. He offered another room that was supposed to be clean. I stayed because I didn't want to lose time finding somewhere else, but it was the same flat, and I got bitten again in the other room. Afterward, I had to throw away some clothes and my running shoes so I wouldn't bring the bugs back to my flat. I also saw a doctor, who counted 47 bites across my body. I'll only post a photo of my hand to show how painful it was. Be careful if you decide to stay here.

They let us keep our bags while we explored the city in the morning, and even stay past checkout because our bus was later in the day. The room was spacious and very clean, with a washing machine too. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. It's a great spot, about five minutes from the centre and main attractions.

I booked a bunk bed for five nights, and the receptionist was cooperative. The hostel is around 500 meters from the Roman Diocletan's Palace, right by the old town. Hygiene could be better: the sheets should be changed at least every two days without having to ask, and the washrooms weren't cleaned a few times during my stay. Even so, it's one of the best hostels I've stayed in so far.

The room had Air Conditioning, which was a real help in summer, and I slept really well here on two visits to Split Croatia. It's a lovely, clean and tidy apartment in a handy central spot. The owner was very nice and helpful. I'd recommend it to friends and family.

This small hostel in a building was really clean and had everything I needed. I stayed in a shared room with large lockers and drawers for luggage, plus individual lamps and sockets. The receptionist was very helpful. It's near the center and the bus/ferry station. Highly recommend it.
