Hostel Split backpackers

It's a calm place in the off-season, and the location is perfect, between the beach and city center. The hostel is clean and cozy. Staff are amazing, friendly, and full of useful information. Our private room was right next to reception, though, so it got pretty noisy during the day. I imagine it's a lot louder in summer.

Had a good stay. The hostel is near the railway station, bus station, and palace. Receptionist Dora was really helpful, explaining the main city attractions and giving suggestions.

This was one of my first times staying in a hostel, and I'll remember it for a long time. The staff were accommodating, and the social activities and amazing nights out made this place so good.

Dora at reception was super kind and friendly. She booked me a tour, helped me work out bus timetables around Split, and even gave me date ideas for a girl I'd met from a nearby hostel. I was nervous about staying in a hostel while traveling solo, but I felt at home right away. There was always a lot going on, with a group chat among Split's neighboring hostels about nightly pub crawls and dinners. It was a great way to meet people, and I did. This was in early September, just after summer, when fewer people were traveling. I also felt fine staying in for the night when I wanted to. The Balcony is a great communal area, there's a corner shop a minute away, and everything in Split is close. Can't recommend it enough! Thanks for having me, Matt (Mate)
