Hotel Heritage Rose Split

Breakfast was lovely, and the room was immaculate. The people were charming and friendly. As others have mentioned, let them know if you need the car park. A colleague met us there and walked us straight to the hotel.

There are only three rooms, so getting one means you can expect very attentive service. The hotel is over 1,000 years old, and its history and charm come through everywhere. It’s right in the heart of the old town. The staff were wonderful, and every local we spoke with was among the friendliest people I’ve ever met, and I’m Irish! They were great representatives of Croatia and Split. We left wanting to come back as soon as possible.

The small, charming feel of this hotel was probably my favorite part, and it’s close to lots of great restaurants. Our room was spacious, with a big bathroom, a comfortable bed, and plenty of large windows that opened for fresh air. The breakfast nook was sweet, and they made eggs and other items to order. Evana at reception went out of her way to answer questions and help us. Since it was my birthday, she even left us a big box of the best chocolates in the room one day. Staying inside the Palace walls can be noisy in the mornings, with the garbage carts, but that added to the charm for us. It was the perfect spot for our first visit to Split. We’d stay again, and you should too!

The rooms were so cool, and breakfast was great. The location in the city was unbelievable, and everyone working there was so helpful. One employee even met us at the garage outside town, helped us park, and walked our stuff to the hotel. I wish we’d stayed another night!
