The host was really helpful, and the room was beautiful and comfortable. Everything was clean too. The only issue was how little sound insulation the building has. People started drilling before 8 in the morning. That wasn't the owner's fault, and otherwise it was a great place to stay.

10/10
The room had been newly renovated and came with a terrace, TV, strong Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a fridge. It felt like staying at a good hotel. The hosts were accommodating and easygoing, and check-in and check-out were straightforward. It's a quiet street, even though the city centre is only a five-minute walk away. My only small complaint was the low shower pressure, though that's down to personal preference.

Restaurants and a supermarket are nearby, and it was easy to walk with a suitcase to the airport shuttle or ferry. The place is clean and pleasant, and well worth the price. It's close to the old town but peaceful, away from the tourist area.

We had a great stay. The rooms were clean and really quiet, the location was excellent, and the service was friendly. Definitely coming back next year.

The hosts were friendly and very helpful. The location is great, just a stone's throw from the golden gate.
