Luxury Rooms Bajamonti

The bed and pillows were the most comfortable we had on the whole trip, and the room had everything we needed. On hot August days the AC was a lifesaver, and we often popped back in to cool down and grab the complimentary beer and water from the fridge. The room is right in the center of the historic old town, so we could walk everywhere and explore the rest of the city easily. It’s also just steps from Uje Oil Bar, which had great food at reasonable prices. On our walking tour, the guide passed the room and shared facts about the historic neighborhood. The woman who welcomed us was lovely. On our second day we went to the beach and thought we’d lost a room key, maybe at the bottom of the Adriatic sea. I later found it in my bag, but at 11 PM we were nervous about calling. She was kind and understanding, and came to open the door within minutes. Bajamonti was one of the highlights of our trip to Croatia.

The owner was attentive, kind, and happy to accommodate us. We loved the welcome drinks, great shower, clean room, and comfy bed, all inside Diocletian Palace. They also let us leave our bags at their other property, Grgur Ninski Rooms, before check-in and after check-out. If we return to Split, we’d stay here again, or at that other property.

They never replied to my booking message asking about cancellation because we got Covid. Thanks. Next time I’ll just book anyway and do my best to infect you, if that’s what you want :D
