Less than a week before we were due to arrive, they canceled a booking I'd made months ahead and gave no notice. We were left having to find extremely expensive accommodation at the last minute.

The sleeping area was tiny, with no little table even for breakfast. There were only five hangers in the closet, so we had to share them with neighbors who didn't have any. The 50L water heater was far too small for two hot showers back to back. There was no cleaning staff, despite the manager saying there would be. To get to the room, we had to climb two flights of stairs through dust and rubble, and the entrance was dirty and under construction.

The building was being worked on and everything was dusty. The host wasn't available, the room wouldn't close, and there was a paint smell. The photos don't guarantee what you actually get.
