The pool had the best view, and the complimentary breakfast was amazing. The staff were polite, smiling, and incredibly helpful. A special shout out to the blonde who was always at the front desk. We loved the neighborhood too, and the location made it easy to walk everywhere. Pretty sure we'll name our next dog Marvie.

The dining room staff, especially on the evening shift, made this a mixed stay. We went there twice and found them inattentive both times, ranging from indifferent to rude or hostile. They didn't say hello or smile, didn't offer water, and took over 10 minutes to bring menus. On our second visit, after 20 minutes in an otherwise empty restaurant, no one had taken our order, so we went elsewhere. I'm not sure what the problem was, but something felt off. I told the front desk manager, who seemed genuinely upset and receptive, and offered to refund one meal. The front desk staff were courteous and helpful when asked. For over 300 euros a night, the room felt very average, though it did have a good view of the Adriatic. If all you need is a place to sleep within a 25 minute walk of old town, this might be okay. The sea view from our room was great, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection. There's an indoor pool and spa, plus a rooftop pool and terrace. It's a 20/30 minute walk to the city centre, though plenty of restaurants and beach options are nearby. A taxi (uber) to the centre is 4/5 Euros if you need one.

The rooftop was a lovely spot, and breakfast was superb. Our group of 28 arrived at different times, with most of us getting there around 8:30 in the morning. The staff had room to hold our bags and got our rooms ready early, so we could settle in when we came back from a walk. The two women on staff were especially wonderful.
