The woman who welcomed us gave us restaurant tips, and we really enjoyed them. The building felt luxurious, with a comfortable bed, a great shower, and plenty of local character. It’s close to the palace and lots of places to eat. Finding it and sorting out parking were harder than we’d hoped, though there was a football match on and the streets were packed. We’d stay again.

The location is close to downtown Split, but parking is off site and a challenge. The room looked nice, though it was much smaller than the photo made it seem. I’m 5’3” and had to duck around the ceiling beams. It’d be tight with a child, and the sofa “bed” is really just a very hard couch laid flat. The bathroom had no fan, and the door was hard to close. Breakfast was incredibly basic, packaged cookies, cereal, and fruit. The coffee maker only worked sometimes, and there was nobody around to help. If you’re on the top floor, expect to climb four flights of narrow, winding stairs. You can also hear music thumping from downtown. Just okay.

The rooms were absolutely beautiful, and the service and breakfast were great. Everything’s centrally located. This was my best accommodation find in Split! Can’t wait to come back. We posted a walk-through tour in a Short on YT at Travel Live Learn channel :)

The Old Town and all the amenities are just steps away. The owner was really friendly, and the staff helpful. Our room was spacious with a great view, and breakfast was good and varied. I’d have liked a few more vegetables, like cucumbers or tomatoes. It’s a lovely apartament with a few rooms, and I’d highly recommend staying there in Split.

Nina did a great job preparing breakfast, which was good, and the owner made us feel very welcome. The location is right by the main street in old town down Split. Truly recommend it. If we come back to Split, New Lux villa Merrisima will be our only choice. Thanks, Nina! Dijar, Kosovo
