Piazza Heritage Hotel

The ice cream shop across from the hotel is worth more than one visit. The pistachio, passion fruit, pomegranate orange, and deep chocolate flavors were all to die for. At the end of the day, when we were tired, we'd buy some and eat it in bed back at the hotel. The location was great, and the interior was thoughtfully done. Reception and housekeeping were really nice and always offered extra services and advice. Breakfast was rough at first because of the music choice and volume, plus a dog nearby that kept crying. Management dealt with it professionally from the second day, and the staff promised to make it right, so what started out really frustrating ended well. Fresh orange juice at breakfast would be nice. Thanks for the stay.

Parking was quite a way from the hotel, but they met us there and drove us to the hotel in a Golf Buggy. The service was fantastic from beginning to end, with friendly staff who went out of their way to help whenever we needed it. The rooms were beautiful, and the location was perfect in the center of the Old Town. We'd recommend anyone stay here. It was one of the best stays we've had. They also planned for our car to be at the Ferry the next morning, which made the transfer so easy. A+ ☺️🙌🏽 Dave, Toni and Catisha.

The location is great, right on one of the main squares just outside the old palace gate. Pizza Heritage Hotel is a clean, comfortable place to stay in Split's old town. The rooms were spacious, fairly new, and clean, though the beds and furnishings were very basic. The television didn't work. We were surprised how little noise reached the room, even though it overlooked the adjacent square on a Saturday night. Staff helped with local suggestions and exploring the city. It seems to share the building and a first floor lobby with 1-2 other hotels with similar names. The ground floor entrance is locked at night, and we had some trouble with the door lock. One other thought about Split: the harbor is a working port for cruises, ferries, and yachts, so there's no need to feel you have to stay on the water for your Adriatic visit. The old town is definitely where I'd stay, and Piazza Heritage Hotel is a great option.

We loved being able to duck back to our room during a hot week in Split, then head out again to explore. Piazza Heritage sits right at the edge of the old town, and our room looked over a big square. The room itself was lovely, and unlike some places within the old palace walls, this hotel has a lift for getting heavy bags upstairs. The staff were terrific. When our flight home was delayed by a day and they were full, they even helped us find another good hotel. Thanks, Piazza Heritage. We’ll recommend you to friends.
