The staff were very friendly and helpful. The entrance can be tricky to spot, but they sent all the details we needed on WhatsApp before we arrived. Still, getting up to the hotel means climbing a flight of stairs, as there’s no elevator, and that may be a problem for some people. There’s no free parking on site either. Since the hotel is in the old town’s restricted area, you have to park at least 10 minutes away, at around €1 per hour. The location is fantastic, right in the old town, though it comes with nonstop street noise day and night. The windows barely keep it out. Our room was clean and had a hairdryer, safe, and TV. The bathroom had no shelves or hooks for clothes or towels, and the only toiletries were shower gel and hand soap, no shampoo or conditioner. The WiFi was a major problem for us. The signal was so weak it was almost nonexistent, so we had to use our own data plan.

The location right in the town centre was hard to beat, and the price was good too. We stayed for two days and had everything we needed. The room felt like home, with one bed and a sofa that could be made into another bed. It was beautiful, with a clean, fresh bathroom and even a hot tub. From the window we had a lovely partial view of the city. The young woman at reception was friendly. A couple of things to keep in mind when booking: being right in town means you can hear city sounds outside. That didn’t bother us, and we slept without interruption. The entrance may look a little shady at first, but inside, the reception and rooms are beautiful. Thanks for the stay, and until next time!
My friends and I had a great stay in this unusual place, though its quirks won’t suit everyone. The room was beautiful, with two large, comfortable beds and a huge bathroom. Cleaning was always on time, and luggage storage was convenient. The location is amazing. It was VERY noisy, with a Christmas shop below our room playing music until 11pm, plus conversations from people outside. The WiFi wasn’t very good, and the water heater ran out quickly. Keep those things in mind when booking. Even so, I’d stay again.
Just steps from the square, the property is down a quiet alley in an excellent spot. They sent access instructions ahead of time, since there wasn’t anyone at the front desk. Finding the entrance took a bit of effort because there’s no sign on the building. A little more detail would’ve helped, but we managed with Google Maps and Street View.
We felt safe the whole time in this very clean, cute room with its own bathroom, right inside the city walls. Fresh towels were available every nice day! Be sure to tell the hotel your exact arrival time, since someone needs to open the reception door and it isn’t staffed around the clock. You can hear outside noise, so I’d bring earplugs. It took a bit of finding. The room is above the Split Christmas shop, up the second set of stairs. You can reach the alley either from the left or from the other direction. I’ve attached pictures. I’d happily stay here again.
