Split Dreams Apartments

The location is very central, and the apartments are beautifully decorated. Tea was incredibly kind and helped us arrange parking. When we asked to switch rooms because ours felt claustrophobic, she said she could move us the next day. We’d booked two nights but ended up leaving Split a day early, so we didn’t need the change after all. We were in room 3, an interior room with no natural light. Its only window looks onto a tiny interior shaft, barely a square meter, so there’s no way to air the room out. Opening it lets in all the neighbors’ noise. Rooms 1 and 2 were said to have street-facing windows. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, and with the window impossible to leave open at night, we had to run the air conditioning all night. We could also hear the doors whenever neighbors came and went.

Apartment 003 is a dark room, with its window looking into a shaft and no natural light. Apartment 001 faces a very busy street, so you may want earplugs or to keep the window shut. There’s air conditioning. The place is clean, modern, and furnished in a practical way.

The cleaning lady is fantastic. I only wish there were a washing machine.
