Studio Josip

The hosts, Leila and Josip, were brilliant. The place was clean, the bed and pillow comfortable, and the shower had hot water with good pressure. There's plenty of towels and tea towels, a hair dryer, and a kitchen adequately stocked with pots and Delph. No iron, though. It's a good central base if you want somewhere inexpensive. The flat is at street level, with people walking past, sometimes not realizing people still live and stay there. We visited in September and October and it was fine, but as a light sleeper I found it best to stay up until the night crowd had dispersed, since they can be noisy. I expect summer to be very noisy, so it may suit night owls then. Bring an eye mask if you need a completely dark room.

The studio is inside Diocletian palace and suits a couple or two friends. It's very clean, and Lana was a kind, helpful host who made everything feel perfect. The location is great, though the street outside gets a bit loud because it's right in the city center.

Clean and comfortable, just right if you need somewhere to spend the night.
