There isn't a reception desk, but after you contact the owner or property manager, they'll explain how to get into your room. The manager was really helpful with local restaurant suggestions and happy to help. It's shared accommodation in what looks like a house, a setup that seems common in Croatia. For the price, it wasn't too bad. The studio-style room was clean and spacious. The Riva, old town, and cruise port are all an easy walk away.

Joseph, the caretaker, was always friendly and quick to respond when we needed anything. The apartment was better furnished than others I've stayed in. It’s an easy walk to the palace and plenty of places to eat. A larger rental car made unloading a bit tricky, but there are decent parking options in Zona 1 a short walk away.

I was contacted by an Indian guy just five minutes after booking the apartment on booking.com. He pressured me to cancel, saying no one would let me in and the place wasn't ready. They charged me and said they'd sort it out with booking, promising a refund within 48 hours. After that time my money was still in their account, and booking.com knew nothing about these unfair practices. I believe they lied deliberately to avoid the relocation costs that booking.com should have charged them. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this accommodation and choose another apartment if you can. Let's not support unfair practices.

The apartment was clean, well equipped, and in a great spot near the center, with a garden too. The price felt a bit high, and they charged us in cash without telling us in advance. The booking site didn't mention the separate cleaning fee or that it had to be paid in cash. When we questioned it, they threatened us in writing on WhatsApp, saying they'd take action if we didn't pay €15 in cash. It was a very unpleasant experience, and the way they handled it was unacceptable.
