We had a week here with three families, and the big, attractive house gave us plenty of room. We enjoyed our time with the children. The man who owns the place was good to us and tried to calm things down, and I want to thank him for that. Leaving was a very upsetting experience, though. Checkout was 10:00, but the owners came into the garden three hours early while we still had time there. We left the dishes washed, didn’t damage anything or leave rubbish around, and washed the tablecloth and towels before hanging them to dry. Still, when it was time to go, the owner's wife seemed to be looking for a reason to keep our €500 deposit. She called the house a disaster, complained that the table wasn’t clean, and said we were 20 minutes past 10:00 and had to pay. We hadn’t complained when they arrived three hours early and cut into our time. She was very rude, and I told her not to look for a way to charge us extra. With three families staying there, we couldn’t wash the whole floor during our vacation. We left the house clean, though it was dusty from being lived in. In the end she asked for at least another €50. Honestly, we’d planned to leave a tip to say thanks, but after hearing her and seeing her ugly face, that changed. There were so many mosquitoes and lizards, and we found a scorpion 🦂, so it was impossible to stay outside in the evening. The pool water also had so much chlorine that it made our eyes red and sting badly if it got in them. Be prepared to clean the house when you leave, just as you found it 🧹🫧🧽🧼. The male owner was very good. Thank you.
