The house feels just right for the island. It’s an old place restored with care, keeping natural touches while giving it a simple, modern feel. Small and very nice, with guest rooms upstairs and a shared bathroom on the first floor. The family who runs it were really friendly.

A great place to stay with a child. Simon and his family live there too, and they went out of their way to make the stay work for us. We could fit in an early beach visit, come back in the late afternoon, sleep at noon, make a quick lunch, then enjoy the evenings around the island. That’s just how a beach holiday should feel. Bring drinking water, and don’t miss the views from the top. It’s an old town house in a great location, renovated with lots of love and handmade details. Exactly what this island needs.

The owner was such a kind person, and we could work everything out with him. Honestly, he was the best person we met in two weeks of travelling around the Croatian Islands. If you’re fine with staying in a hostel, this is the best place to spend the night on Susak.

The owner made us feel very welcome, and the room was clean. It’s a lovely hostel close to the beach, in an authentic island house.

We stayed three nights with family and had everything we needed, including a place to cook. There are two nice terraces, and the owner is young, really nice and very polite. It’s a great retro hostel, about 100m from the main beach. We recommend walking to the lighthouse and carrying on to Porat Bay.
