The virgin mojito was a nice surprise, refreshing and well balanced, and pretty good value. The iced tea was the opposite. At €5, it tasted like artificial lemon and regret, less exciting than gas station tea. If you’re willing to gamble on what you’ll get, try a drink here, but I’d skip the tea.

Breakfast was a buffet with eggs, served outside in the bar area, and the hotel sits at the quieter end of the Riva esplanade. It’s close to the castle and the local island ferries. The room was simple, with excellent air conditioning and soundproof windows.

Sanja at reception was kind and really helpful, and the location is great. Right beside the hotel, you can catch a boat to Ciovo island for 5€, where there are lots of lovely restaurants and bars. My room was clean and nice, though the air conditioning didn’t keep it cool and it was hot inside. At least I was only there for 2 nights.

Sanja, the Manager, was so warm and friendly, and breakfast on the terrace was a real highlight. The location is hard to beat. We’re looking forward to coming back.

We spent just one night here, the last of our 3 weeks in Croatia 🇭🇷. The waterfront setting has lovely views, and the simple breakfast includes things like croissants, cereal, omelette, tea and coffee. The view while eating is the best part. Our room was small and warm, though the air conditioning finally sorted it out at 0400. The staff were friendly, and the evening cocktails were great 👌
