Apartments Maestral

Trpanj turned out to be more than we expected. We wandered around town for a few days, then drove out to explore the lovely beaches on the Pelješac peninsula. There are several shops and restaurants, plus a 1.3 km seaside path on the northeast side of the harbour, running between the water and pine woods past a few stone beaches. Our newly renovated first-floor apartment had a balcony and a terrace, and the views were amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. We were there in mid-September and had the villa to ourselves for a few days, which made for a very private stay. The terrace had lots of mosquitoes on our first evening, so we moved to the balcony, which stayed insect-free throughout. With the house right by the sea and surrounded by greenery, though, you have to expect some other forms of life.
