Apartments Rubesa - Dionis Domus

Ivona was kind and welcoming, and the apartment was immaculate. The location worked well for us, with restaurants and grocery shops within walking distance along a busy road. We booked through booking.com and didn't realize we wouldn't have pool access. That was why we canceled after one night. The air-conditioning cooled the living room reasonably well, but it was weak and didn't reach the bedrooms, which made it necessary in the summer heat. We'd book again, but would make sure we got the other apartment with pool access.

We arrived late in the evening to a cool apartment, with Yvonne there to welcome us with fruit and drinks. She's a wonderful host who really looks after her guests. The apartment is in a quieter part of Vela Luka, but the town center is still only a 10-minute walk away, and parking is provided. We loved the beautiful pool, with its loungers, towels and lounge corner. The apartment was excellent and equipped down to the last detail. We'd definitely recommend staying here.

The pool and terrace were lovely, and the pool was a real highlight, always spotless. Yvonne was kind, helpful and easy to reach, while giving her guests plenty of privacy. The apartment was very clean and tastefully furnished. A well-earned 5 stars, and an easy recommendation.

The owner was professional and explained what there is to see on the island. She even surprised us with a small souvenir when we left. The apartment was extremely clean and had more than we needed, including a dishwasher and washing machine. Fruit, juice and olive oil were waiting for us too. I recommend it.
