The hosts were incredibly sweet, and even with the language barrier they made me feel like family. I was sad when it was time to leave. My room was clean and comfortable, with an unbeatable view of the old town and sea from the bedroom window. I also found the location very convenient. It was no more than a 10-minute walk to old town, 10 minutes to a smaller beach, and 15 minutes to Banje Beach, a private beach club. There are lots of stairs around Dubrovnik, so getting around the city isn’t easy, and there are plenty of stairs down to old town here too. Still, you’d have to stay right in old Town itself to be much closer to everything. Apartments Perovic was the best possible choice for my stay in Dubrovnik.

We stayed in June 2017 and left almost immediately, cancelling the rest of our stay because we felt ripped off. The room was dirty and smelled bad, and the staff were unfriendly and dismissive. The location was far from everything, with access so difficult that taxis wouldn’t go there. We had to carry our luggage for quite a while up steep hills. What they advertised didn’t match what we found. These reviews aren’t exaggerated, and there were even more problems we could mention. We want other potential tourists to know, so they don’t get caught out and choose this hotel.

It’s a long uphill walk from the center. The photos don’t match, and the room has air conditioning but no ventilation.
