Hotel Pomalo

Lou Lou has all the local inside tips, and somehow feels more like an old friend than someone you just met. From the warm welcome to the comfortable, beautifully decorated place and the lovely atmosphere, everything felt a bit magical. It seems like the kind of place you end up when you're meant to be there. We hope to come back.

Staying at Pomâlo felt like visiting an old friend in their city. The homemade breakfast and local tips were part of it, and we felt so looked after the whole time. We loved every minute. The hospitality, design, and little touches at this hotel were impeccable. A 10/10 experience and a highlight of our trip to Croatia.

Hotel Pomâlo is right in the heart of Vis, close to historic sights, little shops, lively cafes, and clear-water beaches. My room blended modern design with traditional style, and I woke each morning to a lovely view of the island and its medieval streets. The bed was heavenly, the linens were high quality, and the bathroom was spotless and stocked with quality toiletries. From the welcome drink and friendly smiles at check-in to the attentive hospitality throughout my stay, the staff made me feel very welcome. It was an unforgettable mix of comfort, luxury, and wonderful service. I wholeheartedly recommend Pomalo Hotel, and can't wait to return.

The people and service were the best part for me. Everyone was welcoming and kind, and the owner was a great person to chat with and hear stories from. The rooms were spacious and nicely air-conditioned, and the decor gave the place a beautiful, cozy feel. It’s charming, much like Vis itself, and sits close to the town's main spots, shops, and bars while far enough away to stay quiet at night. A great place to stay in Vis.
