We couldn't get into the place, unfortunately. The listing said IDs would be collected before or during check-in, but the host insisted that we send photos of them beforehand on WhatsApp. We told him we could share our details in chat and show our IDs at check-in, since photos contain sensitive information and didn't feel safe to send. He refused and contacted Booking support, and we did too. Booking's resolution was for us to send the ID through its platform. We messaged the host twice that day, but got no reply, so we had to find somewhere else. We were also charged the full cost of the night.

I stayed one night. The apartment was modern and very clean, but check-in and checkout are self-service only, so make sure you know that before arriving. I ran into a problem with it, though the host was kind and friendly and sorted everything out for me in five minutes. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The location is handy, around a 10-15 minute walk to Zagreb city center. Inside, the industrial and artistic design gives this cozy apartment an interesting look. It has a very clean bathroom and toilet, a useful kitchen, a modern TV, and two large, comfortable beds. There’s also a really big balcony.

I had to go to the Police Station and file a report after booking this place. First, they bullied me in the messages, then went quiet, sent no instructions for my stay, and neither answered the phone nor met me. I found a statement saying they would reimburse me, but they’re still listed first as “promoted accommodation.” What about compensation for the moral damages, and all the time and energy I lost?

The rooms were clean and good, and the bus terminal is nearby. I was satisfied with the stay.
