During my one-night stay at Hotel Aristos Zagreb, Branimir and Geraldin looked after guests in the breakfast dining area. The food selection was great, the room was spotless, and tables were cleared quickly while dishes were kept replenished. My room was clean and spacious, with a very useful desk for getting work done. It felt like a well-run hotel with attentive staff.

I found a clump of human excrement on the movable shower head when I went to shower. Absolutely vile. What kind of four-star hotel leaves HUMAN FECES on a SHOWER HEAD? I’m utterly disgusted and will never come back to this awful place, especially not room 324. FIX IT.

The free hour in the jacuzzi was a lovely extra, the icing on the cake. The room felt luxurious and the facilities were top-notch. Receptionists were very attentive even though we didn’t speak the language.

Dinner was decent, breakfast was awesome, and the rooms were spacious. But the reception didn’t feel very professional, and all three rooms in our group had a strong cigarette smoke smell. I’ve never had this happen before. Management needs to address it, since it’s a serious issue. For that alone, I have no choice but to give one star, even though the hotel deserves at least four otherwise.

The lounge is five-star, and the food options are great. It’s clean, welcoming and safe, with a nice garage and ideal places for business meetings.
