The staff were so friendly, and the location worked really well. I slept soundly in the comfortable space pod, which gives you room, privacy and security. It’s very techy, too, so other people’s snoring or someone switching on the lights won’t disturb you. Fresh towels are provided, and there are free supplies like shampoo and tampons. The showers were amazing. Best hostel in Europe, hands down. I’d absolutely stay again!

The one thing that disappointed me was breakfast: I’d booked it for 8 am, but nobody turned up. Everything else left a good impression, and I’ll remember the stay fondly. The capsules were tidy, comfortable and interesting to try, right in the city centre but tucked into a really quiet courtyard. The showers and toilets were fine, though they looked quite old next to the capsules.

The pods are comfortable and feel private, with TVs, reading lights, yellow and blue lighting, luggage lockers, safes and doors that close. The whole place was very clean, and there’s a shared lounge with couches and computers, plus even an ironing board. The staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful, and reception is open 24 hours. It’s tucked away in an inner courtyard and basement, with another door separating the capsule room, so it stays very quiet despite being right by the busy pedestrian street near the main square. Cafes and restaurants are all around; there’s a small bar at the hostel serving beer, wine and whiskey, and another bar about 20 metres away. One of my favorite hostels ever.
