The shared kitchen itself was fine, but it was covered in old grime, from the appliances and counter to the faucet. The rooms had cobwebs, and the cabinet shelves were dusty. The handles felt sticky, so I had to wipe the shelves before I could unpack. We only stayed one night, and that was enough. It was disappointing.

The rooms are basic but clean, and the price feels fair for what you get. The owner was very kind and welcoming.

This is a fairly large family home with an 80s and 90s retro feel, and it's a very cultured place. The hostess is nice and keeps things tidy. The owner's personal belongings are in the room, so that may not suit everyone. The rooms are due for renovation, with air conditioning planned, and the shared bathroom and toilet are expected to become private to each room.

Breakfast was fabulous, and the apricot pálinka was delicious too 😉 The landlady is really nice and extremely intelligent. It's a biker-friendly place.

I stopped here for a few nights while doing the blue tour. The hostess was lovely, and the Gönc peach pálinka was really delicious :)
