Almádi Apartments

We had a lovely weekend here, and the price felt fair. The garden was beautiful, and we especially enjoyed the terrace. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The mattresses were a little too soft for us, though we still slept well. With the weekend being so hot, the air conditioning was a real help.

The host was punctual and pleasant, and the common areas were generally clean. Our first floor unit had its own terrace with four small chairs and a little round glass table, just right for breakfast for two. It was acceptable and livable, though there were several shortcomings. The bed setup was uncomfortable for us: two single beds pushed together, and the mattress was hard. The first night was fine, but after that I woke with a sore back each morning. Although the apartment was described as suitable for two adults and a child, the small sofa only seemed big enough for a four year old. There was just one wardrobe, too small for two adults' belongings for a week. The bathroom was small but usable. It needed a shelf for toiletries, and having shower gel provided would have helped. If you use the toilet before showering, there is nowhere suitable to put the clothes you plan to wear afterward except on the closed toilet, so you have to leave them outside. There's a designated smoking area, which is fine, but it has no lighting after dark, so bring some if you want to smoke then. One small thing that still bothered me: we found only one wine glass in the cupboard when my partner and I wanted to have wine. If there's one, there should be two, or none.

The owner was really friendly, and the prices felt fair and affordable. I travel for one or two weeks at a time, and this is the cleanest and best place I've stayed so far. I had a great time, thank you! :) If I pass through the area again, I'll stay here. I can recommend it to anyone.

It was easy to get to, and the room was clean and tidy. The place and the surroundings were quiet and peaceful, so it was easy to relax over a calm weekend or week. The staff were kind and helpful, and the value for money was excellent. I was completely satisfied and can't think of anything negative to say about the apartment.
