Festival Üdülőház- Balatonföldvár

The location is the one thing going for this place. The outside looks dreadful, straight out of the 60s, and the rooms are basic. There are no mosquito screens, so an open window at night with the light on turns your room into an insect petting zoo. Breakfast was bad, just some bread and a few slices of ham. The à la carte food was average, and Wi-Fi only works in the lobby. Hope there aren't too many German pensioners using it, because the connection is already poor. It feels like a trip back to the old Soviet days. Two stars, and that's me being as generous as a KGB Komissar in '68.
