We had a really nice holiday stay at Balaton. Great view, a pool and an outdoor grill area with seating. The owner was kind too. :-)

The setting is peaceful and quiet, and the view of Lake Balaton adds a lot. Walking to the lake takes about 20 minutes through lovely surroundings. It was a great place to get away from everyday bustle, and we'll happily return. The owner was wonderful, always smiling and helpful, and made us feel welcome. The cottage was clean, well maintained and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. We could use the garden barbecue, pool and sauna, and private parking was a big plus. Highly recommend it! 🙂

Everything was close by, and the accommodation was well located. The hosts were very kind and helpful, and the place was excellently equipped.

The TV selection was disappointing: of 600 channels, only about 3 were Hungarian, and the rest weren't accessible. Still, five stars. The rooms were clean, and the warmer ones have air conditioning. It's a great place to relax, with a well-equipped summer kitchen by the pool, including a fireplace, oven, plates, cutlery, dishes and sink. There's white and red wine in the cellar.
