They list more rooms on Booking.com than they actually have, then cancel your booking without anyone taking responsibility. Maybe they cancel because they’ve found a better deal, whatever the reason, they’ll trick you. Don’t go here. Whether your booking had free cancellation or not, they’ll take your money and tell you to wait until they can return it.

Right in the middle of town, this is a really cool spot for a couple of days by the lake.

Apartment 18 was meant for six, but felt cramped, and its tiny fridge seems fit for four at most. It has wall cooling in theory, though it never worked for us. Inside it was a brutal 28 degrees with 70% humidity. Ants were everywhere during our stay. We told the owner, who brought ant poison, but it didn’t help. Having ants crawl on us while we slept was awful. There’s no parking at the apartment, and finding a spot nearby is tricky. The pool water is pleasant, though it seems to have too much chemical stuff in it, since we smelled unusually strong afterward. A shower does help. The little “pool” in front of the main pool is pretty dirty. The good parts are the small yard where the kids could play ball and the apartment’s location. Those are the only reasons I’m giving it three stars. It really needs proper air conditioning and maintenance, instead of just being used to make a lot of money!!

The apartment was tastefully furnished and clean, and its location worked perfectly for us, close to both the beach and town. The bathroom is small, and you can’t adjust the air conditioning. Even so, we’d gladly stay again.
