The people were lovely.

I was after somewhere quiet and clean, and this place was just right for that. The yard is well looked after, and everything was clean and orderly. The Owner and Contact Person were kind and helpful. A bike is handy to have, or you can rent one in Békéscsaba. It's quick to get around that way, and you can even go to nearby Gyula.

The place was clean and tidy, but some of the layout felt unsafe and uncomfortable. The stairs up to the room are very steep, with a low railing. I couldn't make sense of the room setup either. There's a 30 cm step up to the beds, and the stairway is so narrow; there's also a gap between it and the stove. I stepped into that gap in the dark at dawn and hurt myself. The kitchen was missing basics like a kettle and paper towels. There was nowhere to hang clothes in the bathroom, so we had to put them on the radiator when we wanted to wash. The TV was in a bad spot. I think the living room would make more sense, since in the four-bed room you have to use the double bed to watch it. Being clean and tidy doesn't make up for missing basic comfort.

I didn't lack for anything, and everything was close by. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is a perfect fit. Thanks, Róbert
