11th Hour Cinema Hostel

The location puts you right in the middle of everything, and the hostel has a nice kitchen plus an open area for smoking and mingling. The decoration is artistic, and the rooms are named after famous films. I stayed in the batman room. It's a standard hostel, with rickety beds that offer just the minimum for sleeping and good WiFi for planning the day. A good fit if you want the cheap hostel experience.

I loved the lively, youthful feel here, and it was easy to meet people from all over the world. The rooms were clean and spacious, with exactly what you need, including closets. Every night at 9:30 pm, there's a free "crow pub" tour leaving from the hostel, which is a fun way to visit several of the city's pubs. The cash-only payment on arrival would make getting a refund difficult. I was also told only the night before that my private room was at another property, a good half-hour walk from the main location. The room itself was tiny, and several amenities were worn or dirty. I wouldn't stay here again. It didn't feel like an honest business.

The staff were super nice, and the rooms and washrooms were clean. There's plenty of opportunity to meet people, and you can watch movies together. It's right in the city center and worked well for a city break or a Eurail trip around Europe. I'd recommend it for a big group, a few friends, or anyone on a tight budget.
