7x24 Central Hostel

The hostel is in an amazing location and the price was good. We barely dealt with the staff, so I can’t say much about the service. When we asked them to fix the internet, it took a while, but they did get it working. The place is falling apart and needs repairs. Our heater and air conditioning were broken, the shower holder was broken too, and I fell into a hole in the bed. One bed made a terrible amount of noise. It was noisy in general, and hearing people walk up and down the stairs drove us crazy.

It’s surprisingly quiet on the fifth floor, even though you’re right in the city center. Check-in is mostly automated, so follow the details in the emails to get through the three-tier security system. A great accommodation choice if you want to be this central.

The bathroom is very small, though the room itself is quite large, and there’s a shared kitchen guests can use. The staff are polite. 7x24 is a cosy apartment in a building at the heart of Budapest nightlife, near lots of famous buildings. You’ll want to keep the window closed at night. There’s no air conditioning, only a fan, but Budapest is still quite cold in summer. Good overall.

We loved the welcoming home and the respectful neighbors. There’s also a free exchange shelf where you can leave extra things for other guests or take something if you need it. The hostel will print your plane tickets for free, too. We’ll book here again when we come back 💗🔥
