The owner was a genuinely nice guy and helped with everything we needed. We found the apartment clean, well equipped, and very pleasant, especially for the price. It’s right in central Budapest, and I’d recommend it for a few nights in the city. I do wonder whether that previous comment was about the same place.

It didn’t match the description: there was no pool or spa, no air conditioning, and the rooms were dirty despite the cleaning fee being charged. Worst of all, the property never gave us an invoice, even after we asked several times. We asked the manager for a fan on a 40°C day. He did bring one, but then told us, “this is an appartment, not 7-star hotel.” A fan apparently wasn’t enough to make his dirty room a 7-star room. What a mentality.

We felt at home here, with everything our family needed and a calm, friendly atmosphere that made the stay pleasant. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the owner was kind and helpful. Its location near the Astoria is ideal: sights, restaurants, and transport are all easy to reach on foot. I’d certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Budapest.

Being close to the metro and city center was convenient, and the room was fairly spacious and clean. But it got very hot in summer because there’s no air conditioning, and the windows face a corridor, so we couldn’t leave them open. It was noisy too, and we weren’t able to sleep before 2 a.m.
