The property manager knew about the problems and seemed to expect us to accept them. The building's many garbage cans were overflowing and smelled foul, like a dumpster. It was 90 degrees for two days, and the AC didn't work until I rebooted it. I got no sleep in the sweltering heat. The WiFi didn't work either. When I reported it, they sent instructions for fixing it. I'm on vacation, not an internet technician. The people running the place are animals. After getting no sleep in that hot, trashy hole, I asked for a later checkout and offered to pay more. They said no, gave me a disgusting attitude, then threatened to charge me an exorbitant amount if I didn't leave on time. I was willing to pay, so there was no need for that foolishness. They falsely advertise AC and WiFi, and there's nobody to fix anything when it goes wrong. I got another hotel for the rest of my Budapest stay, and it was exponentially better. This place is disgusting, stay anywhere else. A hostel would literally be better. I travel an enormous amount, and this place is appalling. They're scammers, buyer beware.

It was clean, the room was quite good, and it had the necessary kitchen equipment. It also felt safe. The place is right near the city center, with the major attractions within walking distance and food available nearby 24/7.

The rooms look great, and the building's old style is really cool, though it's in less than ideal condition. For a stay of 1-3 days, it's fine, but the longer you're there, the more problems you notice: very thin walls, a bathroom that isn't really clean, and a floor that squeaks a lot.

Very poor opinion of the place, with a bad experience and bad service. The apartment was small, with wires hanging out of the walls and dirt on the shower, cups, floors, and kitchen tiles. There were burn marks on the floor, and the broken shower head sprayed water up the wall. There was only one dish, the saucepans had no handles, and plenty more was wrong.

The apartment was huge, relatively cheap, and close to downtown, with a full set of equipment. Best host I've ever met.
