Brand new apartment in the center

We stayed eight nights at the end of May, and the flat was comfortable, clean, well organised, and very functional. The photos are accurate, though the place feels even more spacious in person. Steve was generous, courteous, and quick to respond. We really appreciated how much care he put into making guests comfortable. Getting around was easy. The E100 airport bus stop is a few minutes away, and Kálvin tér is about a three-minute walk, with buses, metro, and trams linking to everywhere. It’s close to several supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, and Astoria Square. The flat is on the first floor, with both stairs and a lift. The entrance opens from an open corridor overlooking an inner green courtyard, and the instructions for getting into the building and flat were clear. The main room has a very large, comfortable king-size bed with clean bedding, a sofa bed that also works as seating, two armchairs, and a desk and chair. The big windows overlook the National Museum and open, with electric shutters for privacy. There’s also an air conditioner, which we didn’t need because the weather was nice, and a smart TV. Storage is ample, and there’s a foldable drying rack, iron and ironing board, umbrella, shoehorn, hangers, shoe-cleaning kit, and slippers. Power outlets are conveniently placed, with bedside lamps and ceiling lights throughout. The bathroom has a separate walk-in shower and washbasin, with hand soap and shower gel dispensers and a hairdryer. The toilet is separate, which I find practical if there’s more than one person. The towels were plentiful, clean, and very good quality. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, and coffee machine, plus plenty of plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, cutlery, good knives, pots, and pans. It also had dish soap, a sponge, kitchen towels, some complimentary cooking oil, sugar, salt, and tea. There’s a washing machine and dryer too.
