Adam was a lovely, cooperative host, and there’s a good bakery nearby. SPAR is also within walking distance, and Margaret Island is about a 15-minute walk away. The location is handy for getting around, with tram stops 4 and 6 about three minutes away, and stops 19 and 41 by the Danube around six minutes away. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom has a large window and good lighting. There’s a kitchen with a small fridge, basic utensils, and a basin, plus a good TV and Wi-Fi. A mirror in the room would have helped, and I’d have liked blinds on the windows. A microwave would also be useful.

Getting into the city was quick and easy, since several tram stops were close by. The room felt brand new and was spotlessly clean, with excellent facilities and a very useful fridge. The host was friendly, met us with the keys, and showed us around.

The rooftop penthouse is small but cozy, with a huge terrace facing the classic Budapest panorama. The other two rooms look toward the hills. Inside, there are artisan details, great king-size beds, kitchenettes, fridges, and TVs. The host was courteous and flexible, with airport transport available as an extra service if you ask. It’s close to the city and main tram line, with supermarkets nearby. Their products were good quality, though a bit pricey. Margaret Island is a 15-minute walk, and the famous Gul Baba Turkish Tomb with its rose garden is about 10 minutes away, with a great view from Rose Hill. There are also pizzerias and good “kitchen” restaurants nearby. One of my favorite stays!
