We booked on a whim because the price seemed really good for the location and the conditions. Before we got there, we received tailored instructions and videos showing how to reach our room. We were checking in when reception was unattended, but Lami answered the phone and quickly cleared up a mix-up that was completely my fault. We got to meet her later, too, and she really is helpful and always smiling. We were there for two nights before Christmas. The location and the view were both excellent, and we could see the “Wheel” from our room. Traffic noise did carry in from the street, but with that view, it felt like a fair trade. A couple of things for other travelers: I couldn't find public parking nearby, so I used a private lot. It cost €80 for 48 hours, though the car was safe there. Breakfast was at a restaurant outside the hotel, as far as I understood, and we were disappointed by both the food and the service.

The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and really comfortable, with a luxurious feel throughout. Every detail seemed carefully considered, and the quality was more than I expected for such a competitive price. For a premium stay in the heart of Budapest, it felt like remarkable value compared with Paris or other European capitals. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone after an elegant stay.

I was really disappointed, and I wouldn't come back. It felt more like an Airbnb than a hotel, with three locked doors to get through using codes sent over WhatsApp. The entrance was off-putting, with an old, dirty staircase and a dirty elevator. The receptionists were polite, though one was much too cheerful and cocky for my taste. That's just my personal opinion. The room looked nice at first, but the furniture and shower were worn, and the shower hadn't been cleaned properly. I don't like complaining, so I stayed the night. I also paid €20 for breakfast at the café downstairs, but that only covered one main course and one drink. The staff there were unpleasant, and anything extra, even water or tea, cost more, along with a mandatory 13% service fee. I wouldn't mind paying a service fee if the service were there. The meal and drink I had would normally cost around €15 at the café, so future guests might be better off buying breakfast there instead of booking it. There were no bath essentials or towels.

We were a family of five visiting in mid-December for the Christmas markets, and had a blast. The location was spot on, about 10 minutes from all the main attractions, and the splendid rooms were well equipped. Just note that the bathrooms have matte-finish glass walls. Lami, the property manager, was welcoming and communication with her was excellent. We did have a brief scare after locking ourselves out with no spare key on site. Lami did her best to help, and luckily we still caught our flight on time. Check that you have your key before heading out!

The customer service receptionist was friendly, but everything else about my experience was terrible. On the second day, the cleaning crew took two items of my clothing. At first I wondered if I'd packed them, but I was certain I had, since nothing like this had happened to me before. I also left my Gucci belt at the hotel. I wore it the night before I left, then noticed it was gone at the airport after returning to the hotel that morning. I contacted the hotel right away, but they said they hadn't found it. I believe they stole my things. There were no bath essentials or towels.
