There isn't any parking at the ville, so you'll need to find a spot nearby, and most of them cost money. The room was freezing. The owner or manager said the heating system would warm it up, but I saw it and it barely warmed the room at all. It was a very cold night, and I was cold throughout. The host does seem like a nice person, which makes it a real shame, but there's a lot to fix. I've stayed in plenty of small, cheap hotels and motels because I travel a lot. I was hoping for a normal, comfortable place, but this was disappointing. The overall experience was just about OK, no more than that.

Getting in is simple: you use passwords instead of keys, and someone is always in touch. I messaged twice, a couple of hours apart, and got quick replies. It's about a 20 min walk to the szechenyi thermal baths, and I'd definitely stay here again. When I first entered the building, I was amazed. You walk through a large door into a beautiful building with two wings and a courtyard between them. It could use some touch-ups, but it's still lovely. The room is at the end of the corridor.

The fridge is the only downside. It's loud enough that you'll probably need ear plugs to sleep. The rooms are clean and have everything you need, and the Wi-Fi works perfectly. It's close to Keleti station and the city park, with a few shops within 10 minut walk. Doing check-in and check-out yourself is really convenient.

The bed creaked, the mini fridge didn't work, and there was no AC or fan. The bathroom had insects. Breakfast was served at another cafe 150m away, where nothing was available. Pathetic place, old and rusty.

They were meant to send me the details for getting into the building and hotel door, but nobody contacted me. It says they'll get in touch within 24H. I didn't know there were 2 PINs needed to open the doors; if I'd known, I would have contacted the hotel. If another guest hadn't been on site, I would've had to spend the night somewhere else.
