We enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and clean, and if you're out in the city most of the time, this place works perfectly.

The shower didn't work, and the towels were dirty. The receptionist said someone would fix it in the morning, but they arrived around 10:45, with checkout at 11, so I basically had no chance to shower and had to book another night. The manager said he'd send a partial refund, but I still haven't received it. It was also really hard to find the hotel entrance when I arrived, and reception was about 500m away. I've been to more than 15 countries and never had anything like this happen. Liars, dirty towels, broken shower. Don't book this hotel.

We left after the first night and booked another hotel for our last two nights because we didn't want to sleep again in those bedsheets and that room. We checked back on the other days, but nothing had changed. At checkout, they offered just €31 as a refund, which made us feel they weren't taking us seriously. They asked us to email our account and photos, but never replied. The trouble started at arrival. There was no reception at the address we had, so after calling, we learned we had to walk eight minutes with our luggage to collect keys and check in elsewhere. They asked for both passports even though we'd already downloaded an app and checked in beforehand, then we had to walk back to the apartment. The bedsheets and pillows had black curled hairs and dirty spots. We found ants, dust, food pieces, and candy wrappers on the floor, and the shared kitchen smelled of cigarettes. We complained the next morning. They didn't seem surprised and said they'd send someone to clean, but when we returned at the end of the day, there were only new pillows.

The service was fine, but I didn't feel safe on this side street later in the evening. The room wasn't clean, and the shared areas and stairwell were horrible. €33 is too much for one night in a shabby apartment that hasn't been cleaned properly. I'd choose somewhere else, preferably a hotel, at this price.
