Design Apartments 2

The location was perfect, on a busy street lined with bars and restaurants. My airplane room had a really cool, unusual interior, and I loved the little details, especially the comfortable old business class seats. It was very clean, with two large double beds, and the bathroom and shower were good quality.

The bed isn’t fixed in place, so if you’re a couple you automatically end up separated, and one of the beds is too small for two people. The cleaning could also have been better: the big mirror was dirty and cracked, and there was dust on the shelf beside the bed. Still, the design is stylish, the price is good, and the receptionists were very friendly, including by email. We can recommend these rooms in central Budapest, and they make a great starting point for exploring the city.

We had a good stay and didn’t run into any problems.

The apartments are on the ground floor, and we could hear everything from next door. Every morning around 6-7, the neighbor’s huge Vizsla would bark and cry at the top of its lungs after the local owner left home. It usually went on for two hours, so we got no rest. It was a waste of money, and the whole vacation was awful because of it.
