Very helpful staff, and the apartment was clean with a balcony facing a small garden. You can walk to the main attractions, so I never needed public transport or a taxi. I wouldn't recommend using taxis in Budapest, though, so read more online. Kiraly street can stay busy late at night, so book a quiet-side apartment in advance.

The manageress was fantastic, helpful, and clear about what applied to what. I enjoyed having a studio with a kitchen, bathroom, TV, and aircon, though the aircon costs extra per day. It made a nice change from a hotel room. The airport service was good, but the notice board could be much better. I nearly missed my pickup because my name was handwritten so small.

I absolutely would not recommend this place to a friend. The bed was filthy and rock hard, with disgusting pillows and comforters. There was diarrhea on the mattress, and I couldn't sleep because of dust mites and what seemed like pests left by previous tenants' pets, which are allowed on site. The drains were all blocked, the kitchen hood light didn't work, and the floor was grim and poorly maintained. There was no dish brush, only 2 tiles to the dishwasher, and the toilet fan was noisy. You had to watch which electrical appliances you turned on or the relay would cut out. Then it was a long trip to the office on another floor in another wing to get it switched back on. The upstairs neighbour made tremendous noise all night. They also made us pay cash on arrival and took an extra 30 €.

The prices are low, and the rooms are spacious and clean. The staff were nice, too. Just outside there's a big street with restaurants and bars, so be ready for some evening noise.
