I’d already booked and paid, but when I turned up there were no check-in details. I called the number several times with no answer, then waited on the street for about two hours. Finally a rude man called me. He spoke very little English and said they were full and I couldn’t stay. I told him I’d paid, but he just said everything was full and I had to find somewhere else. With nowhere to go, I had to book another hotel at much higher same-day rates. He’s ignored my attempts to contact him since, so I’m trying to get a refund through the booking site. Avoid this listing. It should be removed from all booking sites.

AVOID! There's no sign at the address to show which bell to ring, and nobody at the pub or dance hall next door knew anything about the accommodation. Calling the provided number, even a hundred times, gets no response. It may be bookable through several valid, credible sites, but don't even consider it. It stinks of a scam.

I prepaid through an agent and am still waiting to find out whether I'll get my money back. This was the worst accommodation booking experience I've had, and I'd strongly advise everyone to stay away. The instructions said to call 24 hours ahead, so I spoke with the owner, who was extremely rude and told me to call the same number from outside the next day at 4 pm. I arrived at the listed address and called repeatedly from 4 to 9 pm, making more than 20 attempts. Three times I got a “Line Busy” message, and the rest of the time it said the number wasn't available. It was a private apartment block with no reception or other way to contact the owner. We finally gave up and paid for another hotel ourselves. The owner answered the next morning but gave no explanation for ignoring us the day before. He only said, “I do not need to pay,” then hung up.

We lost around 200 euros after waiting five hours and still not getting a room. The person in charge of this so-called “3-star hotel” was hard to reach, and we had to ask around a lot. Then a woman called from another number to say our booking had been cancelled, with no money returned. The address shown was wrong and much farther away. The guest didn't answer calls, messages, or emails. It was a horrible experience, and I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy.
